The pace – How can we stimulate our running? This detail might inspire us to try to be better and it is boring if we feel that it is too difficult to improve it. A creativity and a map can help.
Sometimes each of us can be tired of running. You are not the only one who feel so. And surely there is a reason for that. But there is also a visible result.
After some tours at one and same distance between two points we can see that we do not perform as expected or better. Our pace is same or slower. Why is it so?
There can be different explanations. For example following five:
- We have or have had a bad day.
- Our physical activity was low whole day.
- Eating/drinking time was bad synchronized with running.
- Different and maybe heavy thoughts in our head disturbed us.
- Bad weather and wrong temperature including wind was irritating.
The pace is a detail that might inspire us to try to be better and it is boring if we feel that it is too difficult to improve it. How can we break this wall? How can we find new stimulation?
Let say that you feel for some physical activity. You want to run and you know where and how. But when you start you can feel that something is missing.
A very good way of trying to break that negative feeling is to have some creativity and a map. Take a look at the map and decide where to run. That new distance might be similar to the usual ones or different but it will for sure create some curiosity and give a push in right direction. Running in a brand new environment should give each of us a new stimulation.
And of course, we can always go back to the old places and run there again. Some change can never hurt but it can contribute to better energy and pace.
At the end we can explain that it is not important that everyone has same and fast pace. But it can be good for each one to try to improve the own one. That is not a requirement but it can affect us on a positive way.
