Rotkäppchen Weinzeit! vs African Rock, Sauvignon Blanc

Rotkäppchen Weinzeit! vs African Rock, Sauvignon Blanc. If you choose some wine, which one can taste best in the summer? Which one can make your day? Let us see what we experienced this summer.

Summertime is always a nice time. We can enjoy on many different ways. One of them is to take a glass or two and listen at some music we like. However, if you choose some wine, which one can taste best in the summer? Which one can make your day? This question is not that easy, especially when you like different types of wine and different tastes. Can the color affect your decision? Probably not. The taste should be the decisive factor when comparing.

This time we decided to write a little bit different article. We have actually chosen two totally different wines and we want to compare them. Is it really possible to make this kind of comparison? Yes, it is and it is also much easier if the similarities are not that many as when we compare pretty similar wines. That means that e.g. two white wines or two red wines with similar tastes and content are difficult to compare. But if we take an almost regular one white wine and a red wine with some sweet taste, it can be much easier. In this article we are comparing a red wine called Rotkäppchen Weinzeit! with around 9 percent alcohol with a white one called African Rock, Sauvignon Blanc with around 12-13 percent alcohol.

Rotkäppchen Weinzeit! vs African Rock, Sauvignon Blanc. Both are good for the summer time.

The red one, Rotkäppchen Weinzeit! is from Reinheimer Hügelland in Germany and the white one, African Rock is from South Africa. They are absolutely different, but they have something similar anyways. Both are bought in Germany.

One thing is sure and it is that Rotkäppchen Weinzeit! tastes little bit like another wine which we mentioned in our earlier article. It is Di Luna Sangria from Serbia. Its taste is fresh and sweet and reminds us of many different fruits. It is some kind of mixed taste of forest and tropical fruits. Maybe something like a blend of dark berries, refined with plum and black cherry. An another one similarity between Rotkäppchen Weinzeit! and Di Luna Sangria is that they contain 9 and 8,5 percent alcohol which is less than a standard wine. African Rock, Sauvignon Blanc is like a standard wine and contains also the standard amount of alcohol.

The recommendation?

Now you maybe wonder which one we could recommend? Well, both are good for the summer time and both have some own characteristics which are attractive. Since we have to make a decision, we can say that Rotkäppchen Weinzeit! is worth give it a chance. We liked the taste because it was pretty exotic. If you find it in some store, take it and enjoy it.
