Internship and trainee programme are good for a single person if they give proper knowledge. It is also important that both parts are dedicated to this.

Some companies choose to offer internship and some do not. Internship and trainee progammes are very good for people without experience. E.g. students normally do not have right work experience and in most cases they do not have those 5 required years of experience. In this article we mention 5 years because it is a standard nowadays and it can be changed.

Internship is an opportunity to learn something new and get some work experience but it does not always guarantee a job. If a company is a single-man company it can not offer an employment. In that case internship is the right alternative. But companies that can employ people can offer some kind of trainee programme instead. That means that all newbies are getting prepared to stay in the company.

However, both methods are good for a single person if they give proper knowledge. It is also important that both parts are dedicated to this.

How can internship be organized?

It depends on what kind of programme company offers. Also the goal of internship and the intern's knowledge level are crucial in this case. Companies who really care and want to give right knowledge and experience to the intern can use their imaginations.

There are probably a lot of different ways of making internship creative and rewarding. We can for example split it in to two parts. One of them is a theoretical and the second one is a practical part. That means that the company lets the intern learn something new and then apply the knowledge in some real situations.

If the intern feels that the internship has given him or her something new, then we can say that it has been successful. In that case company that organized this programme has succeeded and can continue with similar projects in the future.
