When something we like suddenly ends it gives us negative vibes. But unfortunately, nothing is created to exist forever. It ends or changes its form. As a user of Endomondo every person probably feels that this change is not fun. The training app is something that many of us have experienced.
What is so good with Endomondo? The advanced users who pay for more advanced version of this app could tell us all positive details. The free version of this app also provides us with very good information and therefore we must say that it is or it has been a very good training app.
Using Endomondo every runner can see good information such as distance, time, speed, tempo, but also a satellite map that shows the exact path of each run. And this information comes with the free version. With the advanced one we get more and that is what advanced runners maybe prefer.
What will replace this training app? UA MapMyRun is the app that can be used instead and we can import our data from Endomondo to it.
What if people are not interested in changing to a new app in this case? The answer is easy. You can still use other apps. One of the good ones is Strava. The similarities between Strava and Endomondo are many. We could easily say that they are twins. One observed (negative) difference is that Strava uses older satellite maps than Endomondo’s. However Strava appears to be reliable and good choice if we want to use it instead of the UA MapMyRun app now when Endomondo ends on December 31 2020.
