Just like the title of this article says: This wine is little bit different from the others we described in earlier articles in this magazine. With zero percent alcohol but with common bordeaux color the properties of Domaine de la Prade are pretty similar to the properties of a standard red wine.
The bottle we bought this time contains ecologic red wine made in southern France by Richard Juhlin. There is a fragrance of elegant Shiraz, blackberries and sour cherries.
But we noticed one thing with the taste. It was also little bit sweet, almost like some fruit berries from the woods. So it might be because of the blackberries mentioned above. The first two or three gulps can be experienced like difficult to drink because the taste could be sour. However, the taste is more attractive afterwards and fits to different meat sorts such as calf and bird.
We also let the bottle open at the room temperature during a whole week. The goal was to take a glass every third day. That was successful. The taste kept its quality and the wine remained drinkable. So the recommended temperature is 15-18 celsius degrees.
If you feel for a glass of wine, this one is a good choice regardless if you prefer it without alcohol or not. And additionally we must say that Domaine de la Prade fits very good in cold winter nights when you are at home and take a glass or two while watching the TV.
