The year is 2022. We have experienced many other years before. Every year or decade has something that we can remember as a part of it. Some moments are positive but others are negative. Why do we write about this?
Let us try to think about double standards. What it is? Is it something bad? Let us pretend that we watch theatre with two strong guys. They are so strong that they really want to avoid conflicts because their fight can create chaos.
Suddenly one of them does something. One part of the audience reacts positively and another part reacts negatively. And we also have those who do not react at all.
The next week we have similar situation. But this time the other guy does same thing that the first guy did last time. What happens? One part of the audience reacts differently. That is, they do not like same thing as before. They condemn it. We now must ask ourselves why?
There are two strong guys and they do same thing but the reaction from the audience is not the same. That is double standards and that is something we can see in politics. People are not always objective when they draw conclusions. Maybe someone fits them better while someone else does not. The double standards are dangerous.
We can see how it is in the real life. Politics and double standards are part of our world. One part of the world will always be allowed to punish other parts of the world and they will always condemn their actions. On the other side they will never condemn the own actions even if there are comparable similarities.
