Medias and war in 2022. We have been following some different news sources during the first 4 weeks. What do we expect from medias when we search for some news?

Since the war in Ukraine started everyone started to stare on it. All world’s eyes became directed towards it. Why? Well, Russia started military actions in Ukraine and that was start of this war. What did people wanted to see? What did they think would happen? Probably everyone thought that this maybe can be a start of a nuclear war.

The cause of this war has its origin somewhere in the history of Europe. More exactly it is about relation between NATO and Russia. We have been following some different news sources during the first 4 weeks. We have chosen those from countries in interesting positions.

What do we expect from medias when we search for some news? There are two different types of sources. The one of them is subjective and the second one is objective. Shortly explained, the subjective one chooses to take someones part and the objective one tries to do neutral reporting about the whole situation. Hopefully people search for objectivity but unfortunately not everyone does that.

In this case it is clear that we possibly have three points of view. One of them is west and NATO friendly because Russia is involved. The second one is partly neutral and the third one is Russia friendly. This last one we have not been able to follow.

In some perfect world all medias should be absolutely objective but it is not easy in some conflicts. We will always find those who choose one side and therefore it is smart to read what also other sides write about. We can just understand better if we combine different sources.
