When the normal simple people read or hear something like this then they maybe can think that something bad is going on. It sounds like the people in all EU member states should be afraid of Russia. It sounds like Russia is preparing for some attack. But is that true? Is Russia so evil as it sounds?
Are the Russian planes the only planes that fly around and come close to the someone else's airspace?
The Swedish people do not have to be afraid according to my opinion and probably there are not so many people who are worried about this exercise.
In Sweden there are another details that should be more important than to think about the Russian aircraft. Instead of misunderstandings the nice Swedish nation should continue having a nice life as they always have had.
According to the article at the msn.com website, this military exercise created an negative situation in Sweden because the The Swedish Air Force was not prepared. Prepared on what? It was not an attack. Nothing happened. What would happen if they were prepared?
Misunderstanding can be dangerous
Nowadays the world is not some happy place so it can be worse if people misunderstand the situations like this one. As it is now the European Union has much bigger internal problems than some Russian military exercises. The member states should take care of them instead.
The European Union together with Russia creates Europe as the continent and Russia will probably never attack the union.

The simulated nuclear strike: The EU member states should be afraid of Russia. That it is how some information about what is happening can be understood. Or misunderstood. Back in 2013, according to the msn.com website, as NATO confirmed, Russia did some military exercises that simulated an nuclear strike against Sweden. The exercise is described as: Two bomber aircraft were escorted by 4 military aircraft towards Sweden and 39 km before the Swedish airspace they turned back to Russia, after they "accomplished" the mission. That exercise was one of some similar exercises during the last 3 years.
