Social networks have replaced our real life networks. Being together and spending real time together is not as it was before. People are too busy for each other but they are almost never busy for e.g. Facebook.
What do people do there? The question is simple but we have probably different answers. Facebook should be a social media platform for individuals to show themselves and their daily activities regardless if it is their private or business life.
In many cases it is so. People show what they do in some given moment or what they have done or what they are planning to do. People also share positive or negative feelings and in most cases everyone hopes to get some kind of reaction. Probably all people expect ”Likes” and positive comments but everyone has experienced ”Dislikes” and negative comments. The important thing is that we are ready for each reaction because people do not agreed with us every time.
Looking through different posts from a Facebook list of around 100 friends we have noticed that there is a number of those who show their children only. That actually gives a feeling of ”Who am I friend with?” and "Am I friend with you or your children?"
Unfortunately many people might have misunderstood what Facebook is and they keep doing as they do. They might be very happy and proud of their families but it could be nice to see or read something about them too. Not only about their children. Otherways this question will remain: Are we friends?
