Hydra can live for ever!
Hydra can live for ever! Many biologists probably still believes that all arts will die at some points but this interesting case maybe can be the first one proof that the arts with the eternal life can exist.
A species Hydra can be happy because it looks like it can live for ever. The negative thing is that the animal is only some millimeters long and it is a mollusc that lives in the lakes and in the water ponds. The news about the eternal life has become clear after the long work with this animal. A group of scientist have been working with it and it was the result of their work.
For a long time we have had a feeling about that Hydra is not becoming older but we have not got and real proof for that. Now we have enough data and statistics so we can say that this animal does not become affected by its own age.
That is what Ralf Schaible from the German Max-Planck-Institute for demographic research explained to Videnskab.dk. The research has been published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences magazine.
With these results this group of scientist are sure about that they have proofed the thesis that says that all animals dies at some point because of their age.
