Souvenirs - collecting and creating memories

We all can keep nice memories in our head but sometimes we do forget them because we are too busy with our lives. There is nothing that is absolute true but we are all sure that souvenirs help us keeping memories alive.

How often do we think about something that we have experienced? Do we want to think about it? Yes we do. We want to go back and think about all nice details in our life. When we travel we take pictures and we buy souvenirs. Why do we do that? Is that something we do because of other people or because of us?

All those questions must have some answer and all of us probably have some kind of explanation. There is nothing that is absolute true but we are all sure that souvenirs help us keeping memories alive.

It does not have to be something big. It is enough if you keep just something little from some place that can remind you on some experience. We all can keep nice memories in our head but sometimes we do forget them because we are too busy with our lives. That is why it can be nice with some kind of souvenir that can give us a little smile as result of thinking of something from before.

What about something little and simple as a metro ticket? That is so easy to get in a big city if you choose to take metro and it is very simple to keep in some pocket. Tickets do not show much for other people but when we look at them we can for sure activate some memories from that period.

Some people have a need of buying big and expensive souvenirs because they need to show them to other people. And it is OK. They feel good when they can show something. If they do not have something to show they can feel bad. That is why we can respect all reasons of buying souvenirs.
