Since long time ago people always wanted to facilitate cleaning. They invented vacuum cleaner. That machine makes everything easier.

Nowadays the vacuum cleaner is replaced by a robot that we call for robot vacuum cleaner. There are different types of that robot and different companies produce them. Their quality vary and their prices also do.

What are the advantages with robot vacuum cleaner? Is it better than a regular one? We can create a list that describes that comparison.

• Instead of vacuum cleaning you can do something else on your spare time.
• If you have birds, very often it is problem with bird food, seed. Robot is not able to suck every little peace. (It is similar situation with sand and gravel. Hopefully a much more expensive robot vacuum cleaner can manage this much easier.)
• On the other side it sucks dust, crumbs and feathers very well.
• If you have cables or raised surface (carpet) the robot can be stuck and not able to continue.

All in all, robot vacuum cleaner can do its job but is not able to remove as much dirt as a regular vacuum cleaner does. It can manage around 75% of visible dirt comparing to the regular vacuum cleaner. The regular one must be used anyways because it is not possible to fully rely on the robot.

It is very possible that you do not have to use your regular vacuum cleaner as often as without robot. That is because the robot helps you keeping clean and it also can have some psychological effect on you because you know that the robot has been going around and cleaning.
