One day you wake up and think about next training pass. When are you going to run again? What route will it be? This is how it normally looks when running as a training becomes a part of your life.
When do we know that we have created this new habit? Well, in the start phases we can not tell that running is a part of our life. It takes time to accept it. We actually need some kind of stimulation or inspiration source that help us on the way to the goal.
From the start we must be ready to many "start over" and "give up" moments. But if we really want to succeed and if we have good support then we probably will get a new habit. One day we will be able to think about and plan our running as training.
When some app like Strava becomes a regular part of our life we easily can say that we do run. Measuring distances, accomplishing different routes and thinking about pace and number of steps does mean that we have created a new and good habit. Running has become a part of our life.
Distance and steps are two things that can be connected to a human wellness. If we physically move much we automatically manage long distances and increase the number of our steps. It is scientifically proven that physical movement contributes wellness.
