Area 51 and what we know. What strange things can be ongoing in that mythical area only 134 kilometers from Las Vegas?

Around 134 kilometers north-northwest from Las Vegas in Nevada, USA, we can find a mythical area. It was created in 1955 and it got name Area 51. Why Area 51? We have looked around on the Internet and found that the origin of this name is unclear.

On the other side people believed it was from an Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) numbering grid, although Area 51 is not part of this system. Another explanation is that 51 was used because it was unlikely that the AEC would use the number.

So what kind of myths are created in connection to Area 51? What is true?

Even though many people believe that something very strange is ongoing there it might not be the case. Different Internet articles and TV programmes explain what is going on there. But of course we will never get all details.

What strange things can be ongoing there? Many of us sometimes think that there maybe are projects and investigations of extraterrestrial life. We do not know all details. The facts presented are that they have been working with airplanes and military improvements. But people outside the base do not really know what is going on inside all the buildings in the base.

Extraterrestrial life

Honestly, Area 51 is not more attractive for extraterrestrial visitors than other places on the Earth, but people working there have bigger chances to get in touch with extraterrestrial life especially if they have any kind of scientific cooperation with NASA. Unfortunately we have not found a source that could confirm that because it probably depends on the top secrets but U-2 airplane is what Area 51 has in common with NASA.

What we know is that airplanes U-2, Archangel-12, the SR-71 Blackbird and the F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter have been tested in Area 51. The technology development in military is great but we can see that human skills and experience also have an important and complementary role in this.

For example a F-117 was successfully shot down during the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia 1999.

This airplane was the first operational airplane to be designed with stealth technology or low observable technology for avoiding or prevent radar tracking. However it was discovered by well functioning Yugoslavian 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade.
