Bakken - a Danish experience! - The worlds oldest amusement park with different rides and attractions as safari ride, big scene and Pjerrot the Clown for kids.
Friday, May 5th, our Magazine decided to explore this amusement park together with a group of people. Comparing to the Swedish one, Liseberg, in Gothenburg, Bakken is smaller but cheaper because you do not have to pay unnecessary entrance fee. Tickets are similar and their prices are similar but that feeling of free entrance really means very much. Even though Liseberg has "All in one" ticket it is little bit cheaper in Bakken. (E.g. Tickets for 4 adults and 2 small children in Bakken cost 1454 DKK and in Liseberg 2300 SEK. 1454 DKK is around 1913 SEK.)
Since we were a group of 6 people one of us traveled by train and the rest of the group traveled by car, over the Öresunds bridge from Malmö to Copenhagen. We decided to do as described because this solution was the cheapest one in this case. We wanted to spend more money in Bakken rather than spend it on the trip to that place.
As one of us has a ticket to Copenhagen central station he only had to by a "add on" ticked to Bakken and that went very smoothly in the Copenhagen central station.

What to do when you are in Bakken? There are many rides and attractions and there are many restaurants or cafes all around the park. Danish restaurants, Spanish tapas bar, Italian restaurant and Thai food place are among others there for everyone.
Bakken - a Danish experience! - You can choose where to eat and what to eat. You can e.g. visit Spanish Tapas Bar or Italian restaurant called Prego.
Bakken - a Danish experience! - You can visit the Ghost Train or the Crazy Theatre if you feel for some excitement. It is simply up to you what to do!
You can play games, you can try to win some money, win some toys and you can enjoy all rides and attractions some or many times, depending on what kind of ticket you have chosen to buy.

Thanks to the cloudy weather that day we actually could do many things without standing in some long queues. We could take many rides on Wooden roller coaster (Rutchebanen), one after another, without longer breaks. Close to this one attraction we also found another one, called Tornado, that actually is experienced as much more aggressive and faster than Wooden roller coaster which is the biggest one in this park.
So if you like this kind of places - Bakken is something for you! We are sure that all of you can find something that can satisfy your need for excitement.

Bakken - a Danish experience! What to do when you are there? There are many rides and attractions and there are many restaurants or cafes all around the park. Bakken (founded in 1583) is located in the woods of Dyrehaven, it is a unique amusement park, which offers a historic and nostalgic venue combined with modern and fun amusements and thrill rides.
