WooThemes Hacked
Some days ago we could read about this incident. Many wordpress users who use this theme were worried because of this. Some professional hackers attacked this theme and they possibly could grab and steal some customers' credit cards .
Hopefully the damage is not big. According to
esecurityplanet.com the WooThemes doesn't store credit card details which means that these hackers could intercept some credit card details between checkout and the company's off site credit card processor.
For your information, WooThemes creates for instance WordPress themes for e-commerce, business, portfolio and personal sites. There is no evidence that shows any signs of WooCommerce code vulnerabilities as the company claims. As they have created this code they know how good it is but in this case we have seen that these evil and harmful hackers are capable of doing everything to create big damages for all Internet users.
