American wine and snacks? We chose to write about a red wine from USA. The name of this one is Woodpeak Hills Zinfandel.
Sometimes we all want to relax in cozy atmosphere at home. On other places we do it as well! What about a Friday or Saturday evening? Or even Wednesday, in Sweden also called Little Saturday? It is a good time for indulging ourselves a little cozy time.
In this article we chose to write about a red wine from USA. The name of this one is Woodpeak Hills Zinfandel. It is a tasty, easy drinking Californian wine with 14% alcohol. We got an opportunity to enjoy it from start to finish.
Combining it with some good snacks was successful. We bought Swedish dill chips from Estrella and it contributed much. The total flavor of wine became a little bit softer. Probably some peanuts could also fit. The whole atmosphere can get an extra thumb up if you can listen at some good music and or play some pool game. (Not everyone has a pool game at home but anyways, we give it a bonus point.)
Lunch or dinner?
What about lunch or dinner time? We also decided to try how it is to drink with a roast beef in combination with potatoes made in oven. The experience was not so much different from other wines. It was little bit the same. Maybe some specialist who can feel small flavor details could recognize some difference but in this case it was pretty much same as with any other red wine.
However this wine goes well with snacks and real dinner. It could easily be a good choice even with some lunch sandwich with some Italian or Portuguese prosciutto. What ever you choose, one or two glasses can contribute on a positive way.
