Speed - pleasure or disgust

Speed - pleasure or disgust. What kind of feelings can driving and speed give us? In this article we are going to try to describe it on two ways. In which of those do you recognize yourself?

Press the gas and drive. That is one and the only rule for some people who get their driving license. Regardless if they legally get it or just buy it, the driving license makes some people rude. For other people it is a well deserved key for participating in the traffic. Let us take a look at the speed.

In some situation, the speed can give us a feeling of freedom. Maybe even a feeling of a pleasure. Driving fast is of course wonderful in some situation. Especially if we drive on big highways, such as the Autobahn in Germany. In that country, the drivers are allowed to enjoy their cars and a fantastic speed. Driving fast means also that there is a higher risk for traffic accidents. Therefore we must be smart and careful.

However, the speed can affect our feelings negatively. Why? Well, in this case we are talking about speeding. What is speeding? Actually it is when drivers drive too fast and ignore the rules. Very often we can see how people ignore traffic rules and drive fast. They do it so easily and naturally, as if there were no rules. That is disgusting. That is horrible. Should they be allowed to drive at all?

Why people ignore traffic rules? There are probably several reasons for that and we all know that those drivers should not have driving license. They drive wrongly and dangerously and they see their behavior as OK. But that is not OK. Unfortunately they are not that punished as they should be and that is also disgusting. On the other side, we can ask ourselves, is it fair that some people can behave as they do, while other people respect the rules?
