Driving license - is that for everyone? The experience tells us that our modern society is a place full of different kind of people. And many drivers are not appropriate drivers.

When someone is ready to drive a car then we say that the person is mature enough to make right decisions. Driving car is something that not everyone can do. Or can everyone do it?

The experience tells us that our modern society is a place full of different kind of people. And we can see that anyone is able to buy a car and get or buy their driving license. But is that freedom and possibility something that makes a person to a driver?

In this article we will give you some facts that describe our daily situations on the streets and roads. The descriptions fit to every modern country but the head part of our analysis comes from Sweden. How are the drivers there? Let us just imagine how a common day on Swedish streets and roads look.

Below you can see some speed limits. Do people respect those speed limits?

• Highway: the standard speed limit is 110 km/h
• City or village area: 30-50 km/h
• Regional roads 60-90 km/h

The danger

The experience tells us that we can see many drivers who drive irresponsibly. Here are some concrete examples of different behaviours on the streets and roads:

• Driving too fast and ignoring rules.
• Behaving like in car races.
• Being ready to stop the car in the middle of the street or road and attack other driver physically.
• Also being ready to kill other people and drivers on the streets by stressing other drivers and creating car crashes.

If a person has got a driving license, how is it possible that behaviours in traffic mentioned above exist?

Is it OK to let drivers drive 150 km/h or faster where speed limit is 110 km/h? If a person is not able to control his own behavior then he or she should not have a drive license. Ignoring the rules and putting other people in danger is like having a license to kill.

Unfortunately it is sad to see how our roads are full of people who actually are not appropriate drivers. And it hurts yet more that those people who consciously violates the rules continue to drive as they do and nothing changes.
