Where do limits of a good Sci-Fi movie go? That question is a very good one. If you really like science fiction movies, then you can choose the type of those movies. For example, there are really realistic movies, but on the other side there are also very exaggerated movies. What kind do you prefer?
Moonfall is a movie that we started to watch, but we stopped after a while. The reason is actually very obvious. We did not like the idea of the Moon as our enemy, especially because it is too unrealistic. And people in the movie? They appear to be absolutely without real feelings. Meteors snowing on the Earth? Who cares, it is like snow or rain. It is like something that has happened every day in thousand years.
Then we have something else. The Moon is like a big spaceship? Our brave astronauts flew in to it? No, it is just too much. It is just like a bad movie based on some conspiracy theories that say that our Moon is created and placed there, where it is now. Some people unfortunately believe that our Moon is not what we have learned. Even if they were right, this movie presents the flight in to the Moon as something that easy as riding a bike.
We have seen better Sci-Fi movies. We have published articles about two of them. For example the article Passengers - let us travel with passion is about the movie Passengers and it shows us what could happen in the future. The movie does seem to be realistic without visible exaggerations. The second one is the article called Limitless and Bradley Cooper where we mention the movie Limitless. That movie is great to watch and maybe even inspiring from some points of view.
