Beach bed waiting for you when you are away for swimming or taking some drink in some bar close to the beach.
We visited Rhodes, one of the great islands in the Mediterranean sea. Some kilometers south from Rhodes City, the biggest city of the island you can find Kalithea. Among all other hotels there is Eden Roc hotel, maybe little bit worn out inside, tries to attract people with some nice wall decorations like e.g. the big one photo on the wall close to the restaurant.

Hotel with a big green area that is well taken care of, with grass, palms and colorful flowers outside makes us forget all negative thoughts about all negative details inside the hotel.
This is the way from the hotel to the beach. If you continue more forwards you can find restaurants and beach bars where you can eat and drink when you wish.
This is the way from the restaurant and beach towards all bungalows. It is nice decorated and green place where everyone can enjoy.
Looking from the bungalows we can see a big green area with beach beds that is well taken care of. There is a play ground for kids too.
Outside the hotel there are many bungalows, some restaurants and a great beach. There are also three swimming pools which maybe are not so interesting as the great blue sea. Talking about fresh and healthy sea water we can understand that pool water can not compare with it but if you have a kid or two they maybe can prefer swimming pool, especially if there is some water slide.

Sunshine and warm air during whole day can be great for everyone more or less, but sometimes when you lay in some shadow it simply can be enough to look upwards and enjoy the blue clear sky without any clouds.

The late afternoon gives you a pleasant view in the direction of sunset and on the other side you can see the sea that slowly calms down after a windy day.
After a sunny day on the beach you can enjoy on your balcony if you have an apartment in some bungalow or in your hotel room.
Also in the hotel there are some bars and a small dancing floor. One of the bars is Stone Bar which is available both inside and outside. You can order a drink while sitting inside or outside and you can enjoy any of views.

In 2015 I visited this beautiful island with my wife and our little boy. Now 2017 we did that again but together with other family members.

Unfortunately all great moments do not last for ever. You look forward to experience them and you miss them afterwards.All those moments we spent together will remain unforgettable. Rhodes will take care of them for ever. I love Rhodes again, exactly as I wrote it in this magazine article about Tsambika mountain from 2015.
