Boat owner- environmentally friendly lifestyle. Not everyone is granted having a boat as passion and therefore it is something worth enjoying every second.

Summer time is the perfect time during a year for many people. End of May and start of June give positive vibes. All of us think about how to spend some great time. If we are lucky, that enjoyment can be prolonged also in to the autumn. Well, warm weather and long sunny days give many options.

One of those is enjoying on a boat. Having a boat is fantastic if you really know how to enjoy. It does not have to be some huge boat that requires much. It is enough to have an inflatable one with electric motor and oars.

That choice is practical and not expensive at the same time as it is environmentally friendly, so therefore we could call it a recommendation. Being environmentally friendly is important and great as a habit. We enjoy in our nature and we keep it clean. An electric motor is driven by a battery in the boat and it does not emit any smoke or other dirt.

Battery and electric motor

Choosing one with e.g. 72 Ah is a good solution because you can be out on the water and actively drive around 5 km. That means that you can enjoy in some hours especially if you also have oars which can prolong your time on water. The speed depends on the motor strength. If we have a 32lbs motor then we can expect a power of little bit less than 1 horse power. That generates a speed that can manage around 240 kg but for better experience it is better to not go over 150kg.

Comparing to big boats that need a place in some marina an inflatable boat is mobile and easy to take with wherever you want. Being a captain is easily realized whenever and wherever we want.

Actually, it can require bigger car if more than three persons are in the car since the boat needs some own space and uses two of back seats. Everything that belongs to the boat can get space. E.g. oars and life vests are important to take with because they can be needed.

One negative thing with this kind of boat with electric motor is that battery is heavy. But it does not require extremely much space which makes it easy to put in the car. Depending on the boat size maybe it can be a small problem but that is nothing to complain about because we can always put other things above it. Normally the battery is in an own box which makes it protected from other things.

Freedom

However, the inflatable boat gives us freedom and does not requires many resources. Inflating and preparing takes maybe 10-15 minutes. Deflating takes maybe some minutes longer because we must include cleaning of the boat. Cleaning must be done if we have got some sand in the boat. If we leave it in there, the rubber can get damaged and our boat maybe will not be usable next season.

The rest of the time we experience between inflating and deflating the boat is a freedom. We can enjoy swimming, fishing, eating and drinking but also great view if we are in some natural ambient.

That freedom is the time we can enjoy alone or with someone. It can vary between some hours and a whole day depending on how we plan our day. Not everyone is granted having a boat as passion and therefore it is something worth enjoying every second.
