The Dry 100 challenge. In this article we are writing about a positive encouragement that can contribute a better lifestyle.

What do you think about, when you feel that you maybe have done too much of something? Regardless if it something good or bad, people can need some kind of a break. It is a way of preventing ourselves from getting tired of something. It is also a way of protecting ourselves against negative consequences when doing something not that good.


However, last year we started our writing by publishing an article about White Month. According to the German Süddeutsche Zeitung it is also called Dry January. This subject is an interesting one. It is encouraging people who like drinking alcohol to stop or to taking a break. The encouragement is very good because it can contribute to a better health.

A healthy challenge


We also wrote about an experiment. Instead of having a break in January only, this experiment lasted in almost 6 months. We wrote about it in 171 days of White January. According to that article we can see that the break had a very positive effect. This year we decided that a similar action can be taken. In our magazine we have published several articles about wine and cocktails and we are proud of them. That does not mean that we do not want to stimulate a healthy lifestyle. Our goal is to show that it is possible to enjoy a good drink at the same time as we keep caring about our health.


The Dry 100 challenge is something that can be done by anyone. It is about the first 100 days of the year and about taking a break from drinking alcohol. This can be a healthy challenge regardless how much and how often people drink. And of course, the challenge can always be prolonged.


So, let us have a healthy 2025!
